After being released from the animal shelter Berganza in Bamberg in May 2009 and some days of training, he and his brother started to run the whole Eifelsteig: about 330 km within a week… Well, Tuvik stepped into a broken glass just 8 km before finishing and was therefor driven down to Trier by car. But in the following winter, he became the “Hero of Eagle Mountains”, when he finished the 4 day-ski jöring over 220 km on the Sedivackuv long, the Czech long trail sledge dog race, while his brother was relaxing after surrendering after the second stage! Tuvik was the grey eminence: for his sibling, for the whole pack. Kioti was always respecting his will, later the pack was never doing anything against him. He was Mr. Smart and Mr. Edison in one husky.

Because they have been so close buddies, the animal shelter Berganza offered them only together, so two years passed, until a blond cross-runner came around in late May, went out for a short run, felt in love with them and took them home two days later. Another six days later, they started to run the whole Eifelsteig: about 330 km within a week and he finished at the Porta Nigra in Trier! Very intelligent leader, the alpha of the growing pack, extremly reliable lead husky on the sledge, calm and relaxed in the worst situations or weathers. On the other hand, Kioti was completely orientated on humans and mainly his boss on two legs for hugging and playing.

Bakur knewed, there is others around him, so why should he work, if a nice walk will also bring him home? Because of a thyroid subfunction, he was having 2-3 epoleptic events a year, but always recovered without any successions. Bakur was devoted, even he was out for a village walk by himself after biting the stake-out rope. He was the loudest in singing, the laziest in pulling, the biggest in heart, the happiest to be cuddled, the hungriest, the Bakur himself.
