My “Swabian Husky” Ronnfried Freiherr von Streitfeld (nicknamed Ronni) and me visiting my birth town in May 2022
I was born some years ago 😉 in “Doublejuuppervalley”, growing up next to the cosy Heidschnuckes and our family dog Amor, a wire-haired miniature dachshund, later graduating in Economical and Social Geography and Sociology in the Bavarian capital, and then working in different administrations and several planing bureaus.
In 1999, I got my first own dog, the Mongrel Selly, which became famous because of a television documentary of ARD about “Nightwalk”, a pub (&) culture tour in Äußere Neustadt, a young borough east of the Elbe river in Dresden. For me, historic-geographic excursions, sightseeing tours, and tour guiding became my professional life from 2004 onwards.
After my “Lupina” Selly passed in 2008, Senia moved in, a Siberian Husky-German Shepherd mixture. And in 2009, Tuvik & Kioti, my first pure breed Siberian Huskies started to accompany my life.
Since winter 2010/2011, I am in the North with my pack of Sinerians ^..^, so recently it was my 14th winter in Finland or Sweden, working in tourism with my 4-pawed fury buddies.
Mainly, I am sledging around in the beautiful landscape of Sápmi. Alternatively, I offer ski jöring or snow shoe tours also and can give You some trainings in both types of skiing.
